Savaj Min
Regular feeding of mineral mixture to animals has many benefits in animal husbandry. Its main benefits are as follows:
Main benefits:
• Increase in milk production: Feeding mineral mixture increases the milk yield of cows and buffaloes and also maintains the fat content in the milk.
• Improvement in reproductive capacity: Animals come into heat on time and become pregnant early. The problem of “repeated abortion” (frequent abortion) is reduced.
• Decrease in the interval between two calvings: By reducing the interval between two calvings, the animal husbandry gets more annual milk production and brings economic benefits.
• Increase in immunity: The ability of animals to fight diseases increases, so that they fall sick less and remain healthy.
• Rapid development of calves/flocks: The growth rate of young animals increases and they become fatter sooner.
• Nutrient deficiencies are met: Provides essential micronutrients (such as calcium, phosphorus, zinc, copper, etc.) that are not found in regular fodder.
• Other benefits: The skin of the animals becomes shiny, the problem of joint inflammation or stiffness is eliminated, and the habit of digging or eating soil is reduced.
Feeding amount (dose):
• Simple mineral mixture: 20-30 grams for small animals and 50-100 grams for large animals daily.
• Chelated mineral mixture: It is advisable to give 10-20 grams for small animals and 30-50 grams for large animals daily with grain.
Savaj Calcium Gel
SAVAJ Calcium gel for cows is a rapid-absorption nutritional supplement designed to prevent milk fever (hypo calcemia) and support cows during the critical pre- and post-calving period. It boosts calcium levels, increases energy, promotes uterine tone for smoother calving, and supports higher milk production. Common formulations are easy to administer, non-irritating, and help manage stress-induced deficiencies.
Key Benefits of Calcium Gel for Cows
- Prevents Milk Fever & Subclinical Hypo calcemia:Specifically designed to combat the sudden drop in blood calcium that occurs around calving (parturition), which can cause muscle weakness, paralysis, and inability to stand.
- Rapid Energy Boost:Provides quick energy to high-yielding dairy animals to reduce postpartum metabolic stress.
- Supports Easy Calving:Helps in maintaining proper muscle function, which is critical for smooth uterine contractions during calving, thereby reducing retention of placenta.
- Boosts Milk Production & Quality:Maintains optimal calcium levels essential for high milk yield and prevents postpartum weakness.
- Enhanced Nutrient Absorption:Often formulated with Vitamins and to aid calcium metabolism and overall health.
- Easy Administration:Unlike intravenous injections, gels are oral, non-irritating, and can be easily administered via a tube at the back of the tongue.
Dosage and Administration Tips
- Timing:Often administered just before or immediately after calving, with a follow-up dose 8-16 hours later.
- Safety:The cow must have a, functioning swallowing reflex to avoid choking or aspiration pneumonia.
- Best Practice:Do not exceed two doses within 24 hours without veterinary advice.
