The Junagadh region is known for world famous Gir cow and Jaffarabadi Buffalo. Although Junagadh region having fertile land, favourable climate and strong agriculture heritage, well known breed of animal then also Junagadh region faces several challenges because of erratic rainfall, flood which leads scarcity of green fodder and drinking water. This situation makes worst condition in animal husbandary and agriculture. Along with this issue in past without direct market access, presence of middle man and less co operative activity farmers struggle to get fair prices of milk.
To over ruled this situation Savaj Dairy plays key role especially in dairy farming and livestock rearing, addressing fodder security, input services for veterinary health camp and fair prices of Milk improving socio-economical condition of rural farmer.
Savaj dairy started forming Milk co operative societies in every village and even in Nesh vistar of Gir forest also and making farmers aware regarding co operative movement and benefits of cooperative system. Savaj dairy provides each possible input services for awareness, empowering women education, implementation of modern animal husbandary practices, Disease prevention and nutritional management. We are playing key role in implementation of Government schemes for improvement of indigenous breed, supply of cattle feed to farmers, animal insurance and modern dairy farming.

To continue this unstoppable golden developmental journey and socio economical development of milk producers, milk processing amd packging continues and khokharada plant expansion and modification completed and new paneer plant established.
